About us
We make AI literacy demonstrable
ai-geletterd helps Dutch employers demonstrably meet the AI literacy obligation under the EU AI Act — with role-based training, certificates and an audit-ready record.
The story
ai-geletterd started with a simple observation: since 2 February 2025, employers have been required to ensure their staff are sufficiently AI literate, yet most organisations had no idea where to start. The information existed — scattered across Brussels regulatory texts, legal newsletters and consultancy reports — but none of it was practical for an HR manager at a small or mid-sized company.
We were founded by someone who ran into this gap first-hand. The goal: a Dutch, primary-source-grounded and affordable way to meet the obligation — and to make it demonstrable for an audit. Not vague advice, but a concrete path from training to certificate to record.
We always cite the primary source. Every regulatory claim on this platform points to the text of the EU AI Act or to the guidance of the Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) — never to a second-hand summary.
Our mission
To make AI literacy attainable for every Dutch employer, regardless of size or sector — defensible, affordable and demonstrable.
The AP approach
We follow the four-step plan of the Dutch Data Protection Authority: identify, set goals, execute and evaluate — as a continuous cycle. Our platform supports every step.
- 1
Identify
Which AI systems do you use and who works with them?
- 2
Set goals
Define the desired level of AI literacy per role.
- 3
Execute
Provide training appropriate to role, context and risk.
- 4
Evaluate
Measure, improve and repeat — AI literacy is continuous.
What we stand for
Primary source first
Every regulatory claim points to the EU AI Act or the AP — never to a second-hand summary.
Dutch first
Dutch is our source language. Content is written for Dutch practice, not machine-translated.
Demonstrable
Everything you do, you can show: certificates, an AI register and an audit-ready record.
